Coach Kevin Cooper was raised in Redmond, Washington, and graduated from Redmond High School in 2004. He played basketball and football and rowed for the Sammamish Rowing Association, where he also served as a coach. In addition to rowing, he played baseball growing up and began coaching the Interlake Softball Team in 2022.

Coach Coop led the 2025 team to its first winning season in over 10 years, which included a Top 4 finish in the KingCo Tournament and qualification for Districts.
Off the field, Coach Coop enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their two daughters, Sofia and Adessa.
Coach Chris was raised in Bellevue, Washington, and graduated from Sammamish High School in 1993. He played both baseball and football for Sammamish. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Interlake Softball Team, having coached Little League and Select Baseball in Bellevue and Issaquah for over 20 years.

Coach Chris was raised in Bellevue, Washington, and graduated from Sammamish High School in 1993. He played both baseball and football for Sammamish. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Interlake Softball Team, having coached Little League and Select Baseball in Bellevue and Issaquah for over 20 years.
In just his third year with the team, he helped lead the 2025 Interlake Softball Team to a top finish in the league, which included two players earning 1st Team Mountain Division All-League honors. Coach Chris has a soft spot for catchers, having been one himself, and we’re fortunate to have him mentoring our young players.
Off the field, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Julia; coaching his son, Peyton, in baseball; watching his son, Caellum, play soccer; and, when time allows, fitting in a fishing trip.
Coach Colton was born in Lacey, Washington, and raised in Olympia. He grew up playing baseball and pitched for four years at Central Washington University as a member of the Wildcats. After graduating, he began playing men’s fastpitch and continues to pitch for his current team. In addition to coaching at Interlake, he serves as the Head

After graduating, he began playing men’s fastpitch and continues to pitch for his current team. In addition to coaching at Interlake, he serves as the Head Velocity Trainer at Boost Baseball.
In a short time, Coach Colton has brought his passion for the game to the players at Interlake. He is dedicated to enhancing their knowledge of the game and building their confidence on the field. He is also in the process of completing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Off the field, Coach Colton enjoys spending time with his wife, Madison, and their three sons—triplets Micah, Isaiah, and Josiah.
