Head Coach Chris Wright
Coach Chris Wright returns to the Saints for his 1st year as Head Coach and 4th season overall. He is also working as Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator. He was born and raised in the Redmond area, where he was a 4x letter winner in Track and Football. He played Juco football with the Eastside JC program as a center and won 2 conference championships, was named Offensive MVP and was a team captain. After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Kinesiology and Coaching science and coaching for a year at Eastside, he attended and worked for the University of Washington Football program as a Graduate Assistant from 2019-2022 under Coach Chris Petersen, Coach Jimmy Lake and Coach Kalen DeBoer.

Assistant Coach Nick Fowler
Coach Fowler is entering his second year as a coach for the Saints, and his fourth year with the team altogether. After spending last year as the quarterbacks coach, he is now the offensive assistant, helping with anything regarding offense. As part of the most recent graduating class from Interlake, Fowler is just getting started in his coaching career after deciding to stay local and attend Bellevue College so he can continue working with the Saints.
Coach Fowler loves working on and driving his car, eating shawarma, and watching lots of football. Keep an eye out for him at a Husky game, as he keeps his 23-game home attendance streak alive.

WR/Special Teams Coord. &JV Head Coach Alex Papadoplous
Coach Alex Papadopulos returns to the Saints for his 4th season as the Wide Receiver and special Teams Coordinator. Coach Pop was raised in Bellevue, Washington, graduating from Interlake in 1996. He played baseball at Skagit Valley College and Biola University in Southern California. Pop brings a lot of positivity and energy to the sidelines. He has done a tremendous job with our DEs the last couple of seasons. This past season, he helped add a defensive presence with all our DL end top 10 in Sacks/TFL and has helped our kickers out. We are excited to have him back for another year.
Offense/Defense line Coach Garrett Kirschman
Garrett Kirschman is happy to return to Interlake this year after taking a year away. He played two years of college football after earning first and second team state honors in high school. This is his fourth-year coaching Oline and Dline at the high school level. Him and his wife Lindsey live in Issaquah with their two cats Minnie and Lily. In the offseason you can catch them in Disneyland and traveling with family to places like Hawaii and Arizona.
Defense line Coach Myles Rice
Coach Myles Rice is from Houston, Texas. He played high school football at George H.W. Bush High School. As a junior he committed to the University of Washington as an Outside Linebacker. In 2016 and 2018, he was part of the teams that won the PAC-12 Championship. He was an Academic 1st Team, and Arthur Ashe Jr. Scholar recipient 2x. Coach Rice Utilized his degree in Art to work as a professional graphic designer and photographer. Coach Rice began mentoring youth in group homes and for non-profit organizations before joining the Interlake Football Staff as Defensive Linemen Coach and Co-Defensive Coordinator in 2024. This will be Coach Rice’s 2nd season with Interlake.
DB/Defensive Coord. Coach Daniel Martinez
I was born in New Mexico and played football as a linebacker and running back from 8 years old until I graduated from Lovington High school. We won the state championship and were runner up the second year. I also played high school baseball where we ended a 60-year drought by winning a state championship! I played basketball and soccer throughout my high school career. I have a great love for the game of football. I enjoy helping young people to succeed and overcome obstacles in their life to help them grow as young people.
FUNDRAISING
We need your help to support our Saints and raise funds!
- Sponsorships- sponsors help us by donating money towards the expenses of running a football program. All sponsors will receive a banner on the field, be included in the media guide, and thanked during the games.
- Concession Stand -this allows all sport teams to raise funds thru concessions sold at the football games. Football receives half of the proceeds and is responsible for hosting the grill for the amazing hot dogs and burgers donated by Golden Steer.
- Benevity - Parents who work for Microsoft and other local companies can match all monetary donations and volunteer time through the Benevity platform.
- Fundraising activities - this year we will be selling tickets to a Mariner’s game on September 28th.
